Blogging From The N800 Using Maemo WordPy

I think I have found a really neat software on the N800. It is called Maemo WordPy (WordPress), and it allows you to type your entire post or begin to type it, all from your N800/810. I am currently typing this particular post on the N800, using the onscreen keyboard.

I realize that there have been many reviews on the N800 itself, so I am going to mainly focus more on the software available and the things that you can really do with this wonderful tablet.

I am getting ready to try and send it to the site now, to see how well it really works. If all goes well, I foresee a N810 in the near future.

P.S.

I have typed this whole post with the onscreen keyboard and have had no problems typing at all (maybe because I had an iphone before), who knows, but this whole experience has been nothing but exceptional.

Look what came in the mail……

 

I have to say, I have greatly been deceived!  Let me explain….In all of the reviews and pictures that I have read and seen, I have always been under the impression, that this thing was fairly huge…..WRONG!!!!!!  I couldn’t believe how small and slim the N800 was.  It really makes me want to see the N810 now, because the pictures I have seen of the two together, make the N800 look huge and outdated.  I have read many comments that said, that the N800 was not pocketable.  Unless you are wearing skin tight jeans/pants, I just don’t see how that is the case, but I’ll comment on that in a later post.

My first initial impression of the N800, is very impressed.  I’m going to take a few days to play around with it, before I really start talking about it.  Sometimes, when we initially get something there is so much excitement and then it wears off.  I only have two weeks, so I’ll take three to four days to use it and then I’ll let you know where I stand.

New Blog Site

Hey everyone!  I know the site looks empty.  I just wanted to let you know, that I have decided to switch from Typepad and use WordPress.  So far, the experience has been great.  I did like Typepad, but it seemed like a fight sometimes when writing post.   I will be moving my old post over within the next week or so.
